Anthony Gallina
Anthony has served at Our Lady of Consolation since January 2023. His roles at OLC include the Director of Music Ministries and Webmaster. He Prior to serving at the basilica and shrine, he was Pastoral Associate for Worship for over 11 years at Saint Wendelin in Fostoria. During that time he also taught the junior high and high school choirs at Saint Wendelin Catholic School and served as the Drama Director.
Anthony holds a bachelors degree in music education from Bowling Green State University and a masters degree in Church Music and Liturgy from Saint Joseph’s College (Renssealer, IN). He regularly composes music for the Church. In 2015, his arrangement of “Ave Verum Corpus” for string, brass, and percussion orchestra and choir was world premiered by the Toledo Symphony and Saint Wendelin Choirs. In 2024, he composed a setting of “Of the Father’s Love Begotten” for choir, brass quintet, and piano, dedicating it to the Carey Ecumenical Choir in celebration of its 50th anniversary concert.
Outside of work he enjoys cooking, baking, gardening, DIY-ing, hiking, card and board games, playing with his daughters, and watching movies. He lives just north of Fostoria with his wife, Katherine, and his five daughters.
