Dear Brother Jeffrey,
[My family] traveled often to the Shrine with our four children, being grateful to the Lord for our daughter’s bone disease being cured. In July of 1977 we decided to take the trip again, this time bringing my parents along. After praying and touring the grounds, we decided to eat at the Cafeteria. We entered the Cafeteria and picked a table. With the exception of my mother, we all left the table to check the menu and go to the restrooms.
When we returned to the table my mother had tears in her eyes. We all asked her what was wrong? She said that a nice, elderly lady with beautiful white hair had come to her and given her a bottle of holy water, a statue of Mary and a rosary, without saying a word to her. My mother turned to point out the lady but she was nowhere to be seen. My mother was aglow with what had happened and could not stop talking about the lady.
A week later my mother passed away of a heart attack. I had to share this story with you and the Shrine because I believe. Thanks for the opportunity.
