I feel I must write as requested in the Apostolate. This miracle happened in 1927.
My sister's child nearing her first year when she started to cry would hold her breath and her father would run and throw her up in the air until she would breath again. The doctor's couldn't help. (Maybe it was due to her neck being injured at birth?) We never knew the cause.
My sister and I came to visit the Shrine with other people. (We were coming to pray to Our Lady of Consolation, since 1917. When my brother returned from the war.)
My sister and I took the little girl, Barbara who now was almost 2 ½ years old to the priest office asked him to pray for her, which he did right there and we prayed with him. The Blessed Mother heard that prayer. A week later neighbors said, what happened we didn't see your husband throwing Barbara up in the air. What did they do Sunday? She told them we were taking her to Carey Ohio Sunday. She never caught her breath again and is alive and has two children both fine.
Father excuse my writing, my penmanship never was very good. I just had to write this, the Holy Mother did make the child well. I was quite young and memory is vague. Barbara visits me often and also the Shrine.,
God be Praised,
P.P., MI
