I want to beg your pardon for not answering your letter before this week, but we kept putting it off, from day to day, and from week to week, until nearly two months have elapsed.

My mother is in the best of health, suffering no pain whatever, and she is able to get around as good as ever.

She was suffering from "Ovaritis", or inflamed ovaries, causing much pain and swelling of the limbs, and although she tried various remedies, that were supposed to cure her trouble, she did not improve any, until, reading of the church of "Our Lady of Consolation", where various people had been cured and relieved of pain and sickness, she visited your church, where she had several Masses said for her, and she came back home entirely cured and relieved of all her trouble and has not been bothered by any pain of any kind since.

There is, therefore, no doubt whatever but what she was cured and relieved of all her trouble, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin, who is the patroness of the church of Our Lady of Consolation, located in Carey, Ohio of which you are the Pastor.
