Saint Cecilia Sing

On Sunday, November 15, musicians from our diocese will present a “Saint Cecilia Sing.” The Saint Cecilia Sing is a prayer event established by the National Association of Catholic Church Musicians to celebrate the gift of liturgical music. It is usually scheduled in November, close to the feast day of Saint Cecilia (November 22), the patroness of musicians.

Local NACCM chapters present events which take on many different forms. The Toledo Chapter will be presenting a mini-choral festival where different choirs will sing pieces. There will be congregational hymns as well.

The Saint Cecilia Sing will take place in the Upper Basilica at 3:00pm. All are invited to attend and give thanks to God for the gift of song!
