Meet the Priests on Priesthood Sunday

Each year, the last Sunday of September throughout the United States is “Priesthood Sunday” where we thank and honor our priests for their ministry and service to the Church. So why not have a potluck to meet our new priests?! Come meet Friar Paul Schloemer (Pastor) & Father Giles Veliyana (Parochial Vicar) on Sunday, September 27 at 12:30 PM in the Shrine Cafeteria. There’s something special about gathering around the table. Join us for our Potluck as we enjoy good food, get to know one another a little better, and grow together as a parish family.

The cafeteria will be open at 10 AM to drop off food items including those that need warmed or refrigerated.

Card Shower

Since it is Priesthood Sunday, we encourage you to bring cards of thanks, encouragement, etc. for the priests who are currently serving or have recently served our community. A basket will be available to place cards for Fr. Paul, Fr. Giles, Fr. Conrad, and Fr. Wayne. If you would like to send cards to Fr. Tom or Fr. Xavier, you can place those in the basket as well and the office will forward them to their new addresses. Let’s shower our priests with love and gratitude!
