Principal
Our Lady of Consolation School in Carey, Ohio is seeking to hire a dedicated Catholic Principal for the 2026-2027 School year that is passionate and dedicated to providing solid Catholic training and excellent academics to our Students. The mission is to help our students develop both spiritually and academically to become well-rounded individuals upon completion of studies in accordance with diocesan guidelines.
Top Qualifications:
- Practicing Catholic in full communion with the Church with a valid Ohio licensure and a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in a Catholic School preferred
- Will have or obtain an Ohio Administrative Certificate & Principals Licensure.
- Ability to lead, strong communication skills, organize and prioritize work, be proactive, take initiative, resolve complex problems, follow through and simultaneously manage multiple priorities.

Fourth Grade Teacher
The Fourth Grade Teacher is responsible for providing high-quality, faith-filled instruction in a Catholic School Environment. The teacher supports students’ academic, spiritual, social, and emotional development while fostering a love of learning and living out the mission and values of the Catholic Church. This position will teach all academic areas of fourth grade, but will teach 3rd-grade Science and Social Studies in exchange for Religion.
Top Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, or related field.
- Valid teaching certification for eligibility per diocesan requirements.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Practicing Catholic preferred.

Music Teacher
This part-time position involves teaching music to K-8 students by developing engaging lessons. Collaboration is necessary as you plan and direct a yearly Christmas and Spring Program. The right candidate will create a positive, faith-filled learning environment for all students to grow in their musical talents and skills.
Top Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education, or related field
- Possesses or has the ability to obtain Ohio licensure
- Successfully pass a background check
- Faith-filled, musically inclined professional who collaborates easily, is organized, and has a positive enthusiasm for elementary music education
