The Basilica and National Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation and Conventual Franciscan Friars in Carey invite all to come celebrate the Novena to Our Lady of Consolation in preparation for the Solemnity of the Assumption of Mary. In this year where we celebrate the Jubilee of Hope as well as the 150th anniversary of the arrival of the Miraculous Statue of Our Lady, we pray that all who come to these holy grounds will be greatly blessed by our Lord and Blessed Mother. The homilist for this year’s novena is Most Rev. John E. Stowe, OFM Conv., Bishop of Lexington, Kentucky. Bishop Stowe served as pastor and rector of Our Lady of Consolation from 2010-2015.

-Hymn to Our Lady

-Rosary Procession

-Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament

-Scripture Reading and Homily by Most Rev. John E. Stowe
