May Healing Mass

On Saturday, May 3 at 11:00am, Our Lady of Consolation will hold its second Hope & Healing Mass of the Year. The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick will be celebrated within Mass following the homily. After Mass, all present are invited to come forward to receive an individual blessing with the Relic of the True Cross.

Bishop Daniel E. Thomas of the Diocese of Toledo has decreed the Basilica and National Shrine of Our Lady Consolation as a pilgrimage site for the jubilee year. As such, all present may receive a plenary indulgence by participating in the Healing Mass while fulfilling the usual conditions of sacramental confession, reception of Holy Communion, and prayers for the intention of the Holy Father.

May the Lord bring all who come to this holy place healing and may his Blessed Mother bring them consolation and peace.
