We are excited for another Jubilee here in Carey in 2026!
This year is the Centennial Anniversary for the Conventual Franciscan province of Our Lady of Consolation.
In 1926, the Province of Our Lady of Consolation was formed out of Immaculate Conception Province to serve in the Midwest.
Although the province is centered at Mount St. Francis in southern Indiana, because the friars in Ohio had been guardians
and ministers at the Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation in Carey, Ohio since 1912,
the name Our Lady of Consolation was chosen for the province.
We rejoice and celebrate the Conventual Franciscans who have served here for more than a century!
